Deer Hunting in Gardiner, MontanaOur deer hunts are combined with our elk hunts at no extra cost. If you are interested in a deer, we encourage you to buy an elk/deer combo license. The deer in the backcountry are few and far between and usually of no size. However, once in a while we see a really nice buck, and it is nice to have a tag. The deer out of our lodge hunts are more plentiful. The season only runs for the first 3 hunts; approximately the last week of October until the middle of November. We have gotten 30" bucks out here, but an average nice one is 24". If you book an elk hunt with us, you can then decide if you want to hunt deer. Deer Hunting Pictures
